HydroWeb - Hints/Assessments
The last days I was happy to observe at least some activities in all teams on different level.
The team members pages and the team address books have been filled up partial including
some information/images from some - but not all - participants.
The idea of personal cards as individual new pages/docs has been not used
(step 4. in the Kickoff description).
Those, who have not yet put their information in these team platform parts, should do it ASAP!!
I received some team photos. Please have a look on the Team Photo Page. and on step 8. in the Kickoff description!
I assume that all teams had already a first team meeting. The Minutes and WorkPlan pages, the Chat Protocols pages as well as the Team Rules pages are used already by 1-2 teams but are unchanged in the other 2-3 teams. Please have a look on step 6. and 12. in the Kickoff description! I strongly recommend to report the results of your meetings on the team platform, this is part of the "Web-based Collaborative Engineering".
Unitil now I had quiet days, only very few requests on support for the team work. I missing meetings with HydroWeb participants using screen sharing to discuss system properties and Mike11 details. Please do no hesitate to contact me in case of problems and questions. I will try to meet you online ASAP. HydroWeb is on Web-based Collaboration, it requires activities, communication and coordination from all participants.
In the past most teams were starting with the Mike11 WP1 begin of 2nd week, working on WP1.2-WP1.5 in sub-groups in parallel. WP1.6 could be done by all together in one meeting end of 2nd week / begin of 3rd week to finalize WP1 incl. reporting.
The pages Minutes and Chat Protocol can be used in a beneficial way for the team collaboration. I strongly recommend to use the Report List and Model List to report and archive all your modelling activities on WP1 and later on WP2 and WP3. Please do not forget to report all your model editing steps! In "few" days you have to write the final engineering report as well as the final collaboration report. If you report all your engineering activities as well as your collaboration approach within your team just now, it will help at the end of the collaboration to write/compose the final reports :-)
